What to see in Agost
Agost is a center of pottery and ceramics that keeps old techniques alive. The Museo de Alfarería, in a factory built in 1902, shows the dough mixing area, the wheel workshops and the Arabic style ovens. The town still has working pottery workshops that welcome visitors. Ceramic production is still the main economic and cultural activity of the village.
🚆 How to get there from Alicante
Two options: the metropolitan bus on lines 30/40, which takes about 44 minutes; or the apeadero of Agost on the Media Distancia Alicante-Alcoy line, which runs only a few times a day.
