Callosa d'en Sarrià sits between the rivers Algar and Guadalest, surrounded by the sierras of Aitana, Bernia and Aixortá. With a population of 8,182, it is Spain's leading producer of níspola, boasting its own Denominación de Origen. The Fuentes del Algar, a series of pristine waterfalls just three kilometres from the casco urbano, are the town's main natural attraction. The town's roots trace back to medieval Arab fiefs.

ALSA bus from Alicante. Travel time 1 hour 5 minutes. Three departures daily from the train station. The route covers about 45 kilometres on the toll-free AP-7, with direct access via salida 65.
