What to see in Calp
The Peñón de Ifach, a 332-metre coastal mountain designated a Natural Park in 1987, defines Calpe's skyline. The park is home to more than 400 catalogued plant species, some endangered such as the Silene de Ifach. The fourth-century BC Iberian settlement visible on the summit testifies to ancient occupations. Playa de Levante and Cala El Racó are ideal for swimming and diving.
🚆 How to get there from Alicante
The tram L1 from the parada Luceros in Alicante runs to Calpe, stopping at El Campello, Villajoyosa and Benidorm. The trip takes about 2 hours and 27 minutes. There are also autobús services with regular connections.
