What to see in El Campello

El Campello is known for the Illeta dels Banyets (the little island of the baths), a unique archaeological peninsula in the Mediterráneo that contains remains from the Edad del Bronce, a puesto comercial Ibérico, and a villa romana. The Torre Vigía, built in 1554-57 to defend against berberiscos attacks, rises on the costa restaurada. The town still has an active mercado de pescado and access to playas.

🚆 How to get there from Alicante

TRAM Line 1 offers direct access with a stop at El Campello station. The Amerador stop is around 1.5 kilometres from the Illeta. Journey time from Luceros is approximately 20 to 25 minutes.
