What to see in Elda
Elda is a centre for women's footwear manufacturing with 55,000 inhabitants. It joins with Petrer to form a conurbation of almost 100,000 inhabitants. The city is the eighth most populous in the province of Alicante and has been a consolidated industrial hub since the nineteenth century. The A-31 and A-7 roads connect it efficiently to the rest of the region.
🚆 How to get there from Alicante
The Vectalia bus from Alicante runs about five times a day and takes roughly 45 minutes. There are about five daily services. The bus station is at Avenida Reina Victoria, 13. Distance: about 37 kilómetros. The journey is straightforward.
