What to see in Guardamar del Segura

Guardamar del Segura has 11 km of white beaches backed by La Pinada, a pine forest of more than 800 hectares planted in the early 20th century to stabilise the dunes. The mouth of the Segura is a bird‑watching spot where herons, ducks and gulls can be seen. The Castle stands out on the horizon. La Rábita Califal is a medieval Islamic site. Eight marked hiking and cycling routes cross the area.

🚆 How to get there from Alicante

Autocars Costa Azul offers direct service from Alicante bus station approximately every hour. ALSA also runs the Alicante-Cartagena-Torrevieja corridor. Journey time is around 40 to 45 minutes.
