What to see in Petrer
Petrer is a medieval town with a castillo in the Medio Vinalopó region, 38 kilometres from Alicante. The municipality hosts more than 200 shoe companies, connecting it with Elda in a conurbation of 95,000 inhabitants. It has an important cultural heritage that includes the Moros y Cristianos festivals, which have been celebrated since the eighteenth century and were declared of Autonomous Tourist Interest.
🚆 How to get there from Alicante
Vectalia bus departs from Alicante. The trip takes about 55 minutes. Buses run every four hours from 7:00 a.m. to 8:35 p.m. The distance is 45 kilometres. The station sits in the centre of the municipality.
