What to see in Santa Pola

Santa Pola, located 20 kilometres from Alicante, is an active fishing port with one of the Costa Blanca's principal landing sites. Fresh fish arrives daily from the boats, sold directly by fishermen. With nearly 15 kilometres of coastline and approximately 11 kilometres of beaches, local gastronomy centres on rice, fish and seafood within the Mediterranean tradition. Gran Playa is the main sandy area in the urban centre.

🚆 How to get there from Alicante

Line 3 of Vectalia/Grupo Subús links Alicante and Santa Pola in about 35 to 55 minutes, covering 19 kilometres. ALSA also offers direct services, roughly 21 buses a day, between the bus stations of both cities.
