Opened in 1967 in the seafaring neighborhood of Duanes de la Mar, this avant-garde church has a ceiling that resembles the inverted hull of a ship. Twelve anchors support the structure, representing the Twelve Apostles, in unusual marine symbolism for religious architecture.
