Tabarca — L'Alacantí (Alacant)

The only inhabited island of the Comunitat Valenciana, approximately eleven nautical miles from Alicante. Fortified in the 18th century, when Carlos III brought Genoese families from Tabarka, its waters form the first marine reserve declared in Spain.
