Orihuela — Vega Baja del Segura (Alacant)

Seat of the Orihuela-Alicante diocese, begun in the thirteenth century on remains of an Islamic mosque. Its Gothic and Renaissance doors open to a Latin-cross interior that houses Velázquez's painting 'The Temptation of Saint Thomas' and a Museum of Religious Art.
