Cala de la Granadella (Xàbia)

La Granadella sits at the southern edge of Xàbia's municipal area, wedged between cliffs and pine woods inside a protected stretch of coast, and its reputation comes down to the water: clear and turquoise even at the height of summer. The beach itself is pebble, not sand, so water shoes make a real difference getting in and out of the sea.

In peak season the town council regulates car access: the parking area has a fixed number of spaces, and once it's full, entry is closed until spots free up. Arriving early in the morning is essentially the only way to guarantee a spot between June and September; outside that window access runs freely. There's a beach bar and sunbed rental in summer, but not much else in the way of infrastructure.
